A 2003 graduate of Lakeville High School • Starred in both basketball and track for the Panthers • The first Golden Gopher recruit to play in the McDonald’s High School All- American Game • Scored 11 points and pulled down six rebounds in helping the West squad to victory • Played in the Adidias High School All-American Game, scoring 10 points • A third-team Parade Magazine High School All-American • The 2002 and 2003 Associated Press Minnesota Player of the Year • Three-time Class 4A Player of the Year • First-team all-state as a junior and senior, second-team as a sophomore • Led Lakeville to Minnesota Class 4A titles in 2001 and 2002, including an undefeated 29-0 mark in 2002 • Shared 2003 Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year honors with Broback • Helped Panthers to a cumulative 122-14 record in her high school career • Tallied 2,323 career points, the 15th-most in Minnesota high school history and a Class 4A record • Collected 1,408 career rebounds • Played varsity since eighth grade • Averaged a double-double during her career averaging 17.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game in 135 career games • An All-Lake Conference honoree five times • Minnesota’s 2003 Gatorade Girls Basketball Athlete of the Year • A two-time AAU All-American • Played on North Tartan AAU team that won 2003 national title • North Tartan squad placed third in AAU National Tournament and fourth in the Junior Olympics in 2002 • Led Lakeville track & field team to two team state titles (2002 and 2003), winning four shot put (2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003) titles and two in the discus (2002 and 2003) • Owns the Minnesota high school record in the shot put (52-4 3/4) and the discus (160-8) • A nine-time all-state performer in track • Minnesota’s 2001, 2002 and 2003 Gatorade Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year • Shot put champion at the 2001 Adidias Outdoor Track and Field Championships • Placed third in the shot put at the 2001 USA Junior Nationals, runner-up in 2003.
