Before Denver: Played for the Eden Prairie High School girls basketball and lacrosse teams • has played basketball for 10 years and lacrosse for two • played point guard for four years in high school, earning All-Conference her sophomore and junior seasons • was named First Team All-State her junior year • named to the All-State Tournament Team in 2009 • was a team captain her junior and seasons • was named the Nike End of Trail MVP in 2009 • was a four-time AAU State Champion • played midfield for her high school lacrosse team helping her team to finish as runner-ups in the State Championship in 2008.

Personal: Born November 17, 1992 in Sacramento, Calif • daughter of John Rose and Coleen Van Riper • has one brother, Cory (21) • plans to major in marketing • chose DU because it has the perfect balance of everything she wanted • also chose DU because of the competitive basketball program that competes at the highest level, the challenging academics and the great overall feel of the campus • also recruited by Lehigh, Creighton, Northwestern, Nebraska, Marquette, Green Bay, Wyoming, Montana State and Northern Iowa • hopes to study business and get an advanced degree in either business or law • enjoys playing beach volleyball and tennis • volunteered with Feed My Starving Children, the Science Club and Eden Prairie Girls Youth Basketball as a referee and a coach.
